My Fitness Journey
Growing up, I had the worst relationship with food and exercise. I struggled with asthma and heart arrhythmia, so I used that as an excuse that I would never be an athlete. I also struggled with bulimia starting at age 14 and well into college. I felt hopeless and that I would never have a “normal” relationship with food.
After my dance career was over, I started to get into weightlifting. In 2021 I decided to become a fitness coach because I wanted to share my passion and knowledge for exercise with others. At the beginning of my journey as a coach, I started to take courses on nutrition and learned what worked for me by implementing these practices into my diet.
After learning what foods nourish the body, my workouts and mindset completely transformed. Fitness was the cure for my mental, physical, and emotional health. I hope to spread this knowledge to people who need this like I did.
